Everyone has a story. 

I’m a freelance writer who believes in the power of the written word. Do you have a passion, a message to share with the world? What are the struggles you have overcome? Are there lessons you learned? Or do you have dreams that have been fulfilled? How will these stories be passed down to future generations?

I would be honored to consider writing your story. Unlike many authors, I do not evaluate submissions based on future economic values.

All of us carry significance in the Master's plan. However; please understand that I am only human and therefore capable of handling only a finite number of projects. Most often submissions are denied due to time constraints more than anything else.

I offer a variety of freelance writing services, including:

Creative Writing - children's stories, creative non-fiction, meaningful fiction, teaching ministry and memoir.

Copy Editing - content and copy editing

Types of Services

Two methods of service are available: Co-Author or Ghostwriter

Co-Author

As a co-author of your story all rights and royalties are shared. You pay me a flat fee per page to write your story, typically $5 - $15 with a minimum fee of $100. An initial escrow account is established with periodic withdrawals for services rendered. The balance of the escrow is to be utilized for publication needs. Royalties and ownership are negotiable and typically range from 25% - 60% depending on the level of participation and the services required. Additional deliverables, representations, warranties and indemnities are laid out in the contract for services.

Ghostwriter

As a ghostwriter I only need your good ideas and guidance regarding the story. We charge upfront and/or "on spec" to write or rewrite your work, and I don't have to take any of the credit.

Pricing for ghostwriting services vary depending on the genre of the project, the project's length and the time frame allotted. However, most projects can be grouped in one of the following categories:

Full-Length Manuscripts - A 200 - 300 page manuscript to be completed in approximately six months costs $16,000 to $24,000.

Manuscript Editing - Line editing of completed manuscripts ranges from $3,000 to $8,000.

Novelty Books / Pocketbooks - A 100 page manuscript including illustrations with a deadline at least three months away ranges from $6,000 - $21,000. Without illustrations, the cost is lower.

Typically 35% - 50% of fees are required up front with the balance paid "on spec" or when the work is completed. All deliverables, representations, warranties and indemnities are laid out in the contract for services.
